In 1998 Humberson Homes sold an acre of land located on Bumble Bee Road, across from the college, to Vivian Padgett and Robert Bounds. This is where they built a restaurant and named it Bumble Qs. It was a family restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also catered to the college students.
In 2006 after Vivian died Robert sold the restaurant to Jerry Humberson and Bryan Bowman under the name Jerbryo’s LLC. They changed the name to Jerbryo’s , taking the JER from Jerry and the BRY from Bryan.
