The Red Run Inn was located about a mile or so from the dam on Mayhew Inn Rd. in an area known as McComas Beach, named after Dr. McComas. There was a barn which was used as a boys’ camp before it became a restaurant. In about 1952 the restaurant was run by Clarence (Doc) Savage and Margaret (Marie) M. Savage.
