Jim Deligatti’s first interest in commercial property was the Glen Haven Restaurant and Bar. It was originally owned by Glen Lyons who named it Glen Haven and later by John Luke and Joyce Cornish. In 1979 Jim purchased it through McDonald’s Restaurant Management Corp. and continued to call it Glen Haven. Later it was sold to Paul Cornish in1980. The original Honi-Honi was built on the lake front. Jim liked the name when he had visited Traders Vicks in Chicago and so named his new lake front bar.
